Physical copies of Oceans will be available at select indie retailers February 21. Each copy in the limited run includes custom hand-numbered/silk-screened poster sleeves (available in red, yellow, green and blue) and custom Topanga digital download POGs.
Topanga will celebrate the Toronto release of Oceans Friday February 24 at Sneaky Dee’s with Modern Superstitions, Grounders and The Fabulous Yawn in support.

CD

We just recorded two new songs and wanted to put them on a CD to sell at shows. We thought using an entire CD for only two songs was kind of wasteful, so we asked some of our favourite bands if they wanted to put a song on the CD too. All of these bands are totally awesome. We have seen each of them play live numerous times and they all rule, and are excellent people, and are usually up for a game of battleship. Furthermore, the only compensation they are getting for lending us a song is a case of beer and your ears. So if you like what you hear, go see the band live or buy a record from them or even better let them crash on your floor and cook them spaghetti when they play in your city.

Thanks for listening!

Love

Record Store Day

What is Record Store Day anyway? Not sure, but we’re trying to look our best for it though we’re still under construction. I remember when I was just a wee pea with a driver’s license ( today, I’m jealous of that ), I used to go to the Philadelphia Record Exchange and spend all my busboy money.

I still love spending all my money on music.  In college I had to take out a second student loan in order to fund my record habit ( still paying that back ).  I once had to hire Hollerado to move them for me.  Those were the days.  Now they make me haul guitars around and build them websites… shit, I better get back to that.  Ok,  happy record store day, whenever that is, I hope you buy lots of RMR records. Love, J
